Greenray Industries is a leading manufacturer of precision quartz crystal oscillators. Now in our 53rd year of operation, our high performance frequency control devices are designed for demanding applications from 1 Hz to 1 GHz. Greenray product capabilities include OCXO, TCXO, VCXO, and clock oscillators. We manufacture SMT, thru-hole, hybrid and custom oscillator products. Greenray offers frequency control solutions for several key markets. For the military market, we provide products for smart munitions, missile guidance, mobile receivers and radar systems. While offering outstanding vibration, shock and acceleration sensitivity performance, our ruggedized components also provide competitive stability and phase noise characteristics. In fact, the stability performance of several of our TCXO products match that of an OCXO, but without the excessive power draw and warm-up time. In addition, we offer self-calibrating oscillators with excellent reliability and long-term stability. Greenray Industries serves the needs of the communications industry with products designed for applications including Stratum III and IIIE for telecommunications, as well as wireless and SATCOM, and emerging technologies like WiMAX. In addition, we provide components for use in Global Navigation Satellite Systems, like GPS. And many of our low noise/tight stability oscillators are used for instrumentation applications.

Greenray was formed in 1981 by a group of former employees of GEC Gas Turbines. Its first contract was to supply water well drilling tools into Iraq. Over the next twenty years this business expanded into oil drilling and geographically into the Middle East and North Africa becoming market leader in most of the territories. During the 1990’s it identified a niche market in the supply of spare parts and service to customers with gas turbines aged between 25 and 40 years, offering the potential of extending their life by a further 20+ years. Greenray Turbines was formed and began to establish a relationship with what was then GEC Alstom at its European Gas Turbines(EGT) site in Lincoln. By 1997 Greenray was a global company distributing services and spares on a world wide basis. In 2006, Greeray became an Advance Partner of Siemens Industrial Gas Turbines.
