GTS ALIVE activities are connected to the providing of student and youth services with the main focus being the development and the distribution of the ISIC (international student identity card) as well as of two other international cards namely the ITIC (international teacher identity card) and the IYTC (international youth travel card). The ISIC is the only student identity card which is recognized and endorsed by UNESCO in the world. Since 1968, the ISIC Association has maintained a close relationship with UNESCO and together they promote student travel, cultural exchange and international understanding. GTS ALIVE launched its operation within the Czech Republic in 2001 and has reached more than 95% coverage of the ISIC within the tertiary level student community. Within the Czech Republic, GTS ALIVE issues more than 260 000 academic identity cards each year. The company has been amongst the top ISIC Licensing Authorities & has received the Global No. 1 Issuer Award from the ISIC Global Office on 7 occasions since 2002.
