Georgia System Operations Corporation is an independent, not-for-profit system operations company owned by our Members: 38 of Georgia’s distribution electric membership corporations (the Member Systems), Oglethorpe Power Corporation and Georgia Transmission Corporation. As the system operator, GSOC ensures reliable, independent system operations by controlling and monitoring electric generation, transmission and distribution assets owned by Oglethorpe Power Corporation, Georgia Transmission Corporation, Smarr EMC, the Member Systems and their power supply partners. The company enables its Members’ participation in the energy market in Georgia and the Southeast by providing a range of operations services that allow our Members to transact, optimize and account for their business in the wholesale energy market.

Georgia Tech CIBER is a center of excellence funded by a 4-year competitive grant from the US Department of Education.

Georgia Tech Lorraine, the Georgia Institute of Technologys first international campus, is located in Metz, France. Focusing on research, innovation and international education, the campus enables close collaborations with top European partners in academic, research, and industrial circles. The campus offers global internship opportunities along with undergraduate, masters and Ph.D. programs. More than 2,500 undergraduate and graduate students have attended Georgia Tech Lorraine.

Georgia Transmission is a not-for-profit electric cooperative that plans, builds and maintains more than 3,500 miles of high-voltage power lines and more than 760 substations for 38 member-owned Electric Membership Cooperatives (EMCs) in local communities. Together, we deliver the safe, secure, reliable and affordable electricity needed to keep the lights on for 4.3 million Georgians every day.

The Georgia Urban Agriculture Council is Georgia's premier organization for professionals involved in all sectors of the urban agriculture industry, including landscape installation, design and maintenance businesses, turf grass and sod growers, the nursery and horticulture industry, landscape architects, irrigation contractors, green wholesalers,retail garden centers, floriculturists, florists, golf courses and their related businesses. UAC represents one of the largest and most successful industries in Georgia, with more than $8 billion in sales, 7,000 companies and more than 80,000 employees. UAC promotes professionalism, adherence to industry standards and education and serves as a consumer and industry resource for residential and commercial clients. We promote the economic and environmental benefits of urban agriculture to consumers. We work closely with the the University of Georgia College of Agriculture and Environmental Science, the UGA Cooperative Extension Service, the Georgia Center for Urban Agriculture - UGA Griffin, and horticulture educators throughout the state of Georgia. The Georgia Urban Ag Council recently merged with the Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association, the Georgia Turfgrass Association and the Georgia Sod Producers Association.

Georgia-Cumberland Academy (GCA) is a coeducational day and boarding school established in 1964. At GCA, we do more than prepare our students for college. We prepare them for life by emphasizing the pursuit of individual excellence, spiritual growth, and service in a diverse learning environment. Our students are the center of all that we do. Together, we challenge them to learn with passion, act with integrity, and serve with respect. Each year, GCA enrolls approximately 240 students. Our school community represents an average of 12 states and 10 countries worldwide. Stretching for more than 500 acres, GCA’s campus is nestled next to the Chattahoochee National Forest in Calhoun, Ga., about one hour from Atlanta or Chattanooga, Tenn.

The Georgia-Cumberland Conference of Seventh-day Adventists oversees more than 200 churches, 35 companies, and 39 elementary and high schools located in Georgia, Eastern Tennessee, and Cherokee County in North Carolina. Also within this region are four Adventist hospitals, nine Adventist Community Services Centers, and one Adventist University. There more than 42,600 Seventh-day Adventist members of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference. The conference employs over 400 pastors, teachers, and support staff.
