The Geos Group, with its trading division Sea Bunkering, is the largest independent marine gas oil supplier in the UK. We offer fuel storage, bunkering and transportation services to the shipping industry. As both a trader and physical supplier of marine gas oil, we are in a unique supply position. PRODUCT SPECIFICATION We supply exclusively 1000ppm marine gas oil to specification BS 2869:2010 - part 2: Class D and ISO 8217:2010 Grade DMA. Our product has a sulphur content of <0.1%, is FAME-free, with a minimum flashpoint of 60°C PHYSICAL STORAGE LOCATIONS In recent years we have strengthened our position as a major physical fuel supplier, holding stock in several strategic locations around the UK coastline: Lerwick, Aberdeen, Montrose, Blyth, Heysham, Peterhead and Great Yarmouth. REFINERY ACCESS We are a preferred customer of one of the UK’s biggest oil refiners, so we can arrange bunkers in many ports that other traders cannot reach – including Humber Barge and Whitegate in the Republic of Ireland FUEL STORAGE Fuel is single-sourced directly from trusted oil refineries, never commingled, and transported by specially chartered tankers. Its quality is guaranteed and tested at regular intervals. EX-PIPE DELIVERY Where ex-pipe delivery is available (from our tanks in Lerwick, Aberdeen, Montrose, Blyth, Heysham, Peterhead and Great Yarmouth), your vessel can load fuel 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round. DELIVERY BY ROAD We can collect fuel from our own storage tanks, or one of our trusted supply partners, and deliver by road to your vessel in port. LARGER VOLUMES We are equipped to service companies who buy marine fuel in larger volumes. You can collect ex-rack from Aberdeen, Blyth or Great Yarmouth, or we can charter a vessel and deliver it to you by sea.
