GESCI was founded in 2003 by the UN ICT Task Force. GESCI supports the development of the capacity of developing countries to use and integrate ICT in teaching, learning, research, innovation, and training administration for the creation of A Knowledge Society for All. GESCI is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Finland, Sida, Irish Aid and SDC.

The company is registered with The Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants in Romania under no. 15950/2003, authorized by license B-no. 07590 and notified by C.E.C.C.A.R. under no. 695/23.07.2003) We have earned a vast experience in this area working for over ten years with national and multinational companies. We have participated in lots of training and specialization courses from which we have assimilated and implemented the newest concepts and ideas. We have aligned our activities with the highest quality standards (ISO 9001, 9002, GMP). Die Gesellschaft für Arbeit und Wohnen (gaw) ist eine privatwirtschaftliche Unternehmung mit sozialer Zielsetzung und bietet Lösungen im Bereich Arbeits- und Wohnintegration für Menschen mit psychischer Beeinträchtigung an. 85 Fachpersonen fördern und betreuen 200 Mitarbeitende und Lernende auf begleiteten Arbeits- und Ausbildungsplätzen sowie 30 Bewohnerinnen und Bewohnern auf teilbetreuten Wohnplätzen. Die gaw betreibt marktorientierte Betriebe im Bereich Detailhandel (Migros-Partner-Filialen), Gastronomie (Restaurants, Catering), Hauswirtschaft (Wäscherei, Hausreinigung), Versand/Verpackung sowie Lebensmittelproduktion (Glace). Im Bereich Arbeitsintegration bieten wir begleitete Arbeitsplätze für Menschen mit einer IV-Rente, begleitete Ausbildungsplätze sowie berufliche Massnahmen der IV in allen unseren Betrieben an. Im Bereich Wohnintegration führt die gaw zwei Wohnhäuser für stationäres teilbetreutes Wohnen sowie 3 Wohngemeinschaften für ambulant begleitetes Wohnen.

Die Gesellschaft für außerordentliche Zusammenarbeit ist ein Zusammenschluss von Menschen, die etwas in Hannover bewegen wollen, die zusammenarbeiten, wo andere zögern, die Dinge teilen und ein gemeinsames Ziel verfolgen: Hannover mitzugestalten.
