Get REAL is a student-run, not-for-profit initiative started by students to work towards eliminating LGBTQ discrimination, and creating a safe space for all, on campus, as well as in your community, by running workshops in junior high and high schools. As university students, we have the ability to make a real change in the way these issues are tackled, and it’s up to us to start taking the steps to move forward in a positive direction. We are open to any and all who wish to stand up and speak out against prejudice. We have grown from four founders to a team numbering over hundreds of students and spanning multiple universities. We currently have 19 Canadian university campuses, along with our first US campus this past year.
