Girlguiding Anglia is one of the nine Countries and Regions of Girlguiding, the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK. The Region covers the following Counties - Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Lincolnshire South, Norfolk, and Suffolk. We are dedicated to enabling girls and young women to develop their potential and to make a difference in the world. Guiding offers girls and young women a space where they can be themselves, build friendships, gain valuable skills and make a positive difference to their communities. Our dedicated volunteers run almost 4000 Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Senior Section groups throughout our twelve guiding Counties. Girlguiding Anglia is a volunteer-led organisation, with our employees working for and with all of our members and lead volunteers. Our Region office is based on the 28 acre Hautbois woodland estate in Coltishall, Norfolk adjacent to the Hautbois Activity Centre which is owned and run by Girlguiding Anglia. Hautbois Activity Centre is an expert provider of outdoor adventures and opportunities for learning and discovery.
