Girls Academy is Australias leading provider of mentoring programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls. Its the flagship program of Role Models and Leaders Australia, founded in 2014 by retired basketballer and Olympian Ricky Grace. The full-time program works within the school system to drive community-led solutions aimed at overcoming the obstacles that prevent Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls from completing their education and reaching their full potential. Academy girls receive intensive one-on-one mentoring and support from our team of skilled program staff, 74% of whom are highly accomplished Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. The program works because it is community led. By working together with families, Elders, community organisations and schools we can ensure the girls receive tailored one-on-one mentoring and support. Our program increases the skills, employability, mental health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls throughout Australia providing them with better opportunities to contribute to the social and economic outcomes of the wider community. Our valued corporate partners and supporters are key to successful post school transitions for our students through further training, employment and education opportunities. Girls Academy equips students with the tools they need to engage in their education, achieve their goals, and change their communities.

Girls Footy Australia was co founded by Melbourne Football Club player Katherine Smith to further develop and educate talented young female footballers. We are passionate about helping young aspiring female footballer on their journey to success. With access to great facilities, specialised training programs and high-level coaching in an elite environment, we believe that full potential can be achieved. Girls Footy Australia puts an emphasis on perfecting the fundamentals of football; kicking and handballing techniques, decision making, contested ball work, tackling and spoiling. These skills will be further matured while implemented in game-like scenarios. We believe that an environment that is fun and judgment-free, yet competitive will allow for the most progress. While developing an on-field skill set, we intend to educate each athlete in the best pre-habitation and warm up and warm down protocol and run athletic testing to help them understand the demands of the sport at the elite level.
