Opening in the Fall of 2020, Girls Global Academy will be the premier training ground for high school girls in the areas of global citizenship, Business and Engineering in Washington, DC. Our program ignites female empowerment and develops their confidence to lead and succeed at the local or global level.

Founded in 2007 by Adriana Gascoigne, Girls in Tech is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating the gender gap in tech. We started this chapter with the vision of creating a community of like-minded women who could support and encourage one another right here in PHOENIX. Plus, we are part of a larger community of more than 120,000 people around the world. So, when you join our chapter, you get the best of both.

Strong Women, Strong Girls (SWSG) works to make sure every girl realizes her inner strengths to dream and do. Our organization empowers girls in under-resourced communities to imagine a broader future through a curriculum grounded on female role models, delivered by college women, who are themselves mentored by professional women. With locations in both Boston and Pittsburgh, we partner with schools and after-school providers, and 12 colleges and universities; impacting over 1400 3rd through 5th grade girls and close to 500 college women. We believe in a cycle of mutual empowerment, connecting women and girls at different stages in their lives, so that they not only learn from, but grow with each other. Our mentoring community encourages our girls and young women to be the leaders and changemakers they dream to be.

The mission of Girls Inc. of New Hampshire is to inspire all girls to be Strong (through healthy living), Smart (through education), and Bold (through independence). As part of a national organization, Girls Inc. of NH has access to resources, training and research-based curriculum. Each year, Girls Inc. of NH provides thousands of girls with life-changing experiences and solutions to the unique challenges they face. The Girls Inc. Experience consists of people, an environment, and programming that, together, empower girls to succeed. Trained staff and volunteers build lasting, mentoring relationships in girls-only spaces that are physically and emotionally safe and where girls find a sisterhood of support with shared drive, mutual respect, and high expectations. Hands-on, research-based programs provide girls with the skills and knowledge to set goals, overcome obstacles, and improve academic performance. Informed by girls and their families, Girls Inc. also works with policymakers to advocate for legislation and initiatives that increase opportunities for girls. At Girls Inc., girls grow up healthy, educated, and independent. Girls Inc. programs address math and science education, pregnancy and drug abuse prevention, media literacy, economic literacy, adolescent health, violence prevention, careers and leadership, and sports participation. Programming takes place at 2 year-round Girls Centers (Nashua and Manchester) and in dozens of schools across the state.

Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley, founded in 2006, is an affiliate of Girls Incorporated, which serves girls across the United States and Canada. With roots dating back to 1864, Girls Incorporated is the oldest girl-focused organization in the United States. Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley is all about empowering local girls. We serve Shasta and Tehama county girls, ages 6 to 18, by offering a wide range of in-school, after-school and extracurricular programs. These research-based programs build girls self-esteem, transform their views of themselves, and help them recognize their potential as leaders, friends, innovators and independent thinkers. Girls Inc.s mission is to inspire girls to be strong, smart and bold. Local History Girls growing up in the north state today struggle within low median-income households, high rates of adolescent pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, low rates of educational achievement, increasing rates of substance abuse, and exposure to violence in and outside the home. While many valuable resources are available to girls in Shasta and Tehama counties, supporters of Girls Inc. know more gender-specific programs and opportunities are needed to educate and inspire girls.

The mission of Girls Inc. of Worcester is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. We put our mission into practice through the Girls Inc. Experience, which consists of people, place, and programming that, together, empowers girls to succeed. The Girls Inc. Experience offers girls the chance to overcome gender, economic, and social barriers and to grow into healthy (strong), educated (smart), and independent (bold) adults. At Girls Inc. of Worcester, girls explore and celebrate their strengths, their voices, who they are today, and who they will become.
