Since launching Irelands first ever non-stop coach service in 2009 with the opening of the M6 Motorway between Galway and Dublin, GoBus.ie has experienced continued growth in its customer base offering fast, reliable, friendly and comfortable travel on up to 20 daily return services. With a non-stop journey time of two and a half hours this has benefited many travellers including students, business people, holiday makers, and tourists. The Galway based coach business is owned and operated by Jim Burke and his family from Corofin. Jim has been joined by his sons Dara as Transport Manager and Donal as Fleet Engineer in recent years. Together with their professional team they have built an award winning coach business which employs up on 50 people and is based on the philosophy of providing the ultimate customer experience of comfort, luxury, efficiency and value for money between Galway and Dublin and Dublin Airport. September 2012 saw GoBus.ie expanded their service offering with the launch of GoBé, in partnership with Bus Eireann, a non-stop coach service between Cork, Dublin City and Dublin Airport. The introduction of this service has enabled GoBus.ie to develop its brand further in the Intercity Coach market. In March 2017 GoBus.ie invested 3 million in their fleet with the arrival of 10 new 171 Volvo 9700 coaches which has ensured that GoBus.ie maintains one of the youngest fleets on Irish roads today. This of course allows commuters the ultimate travel experience with reclinable seats, access to power sockets and WIFI for all mobile devices.
