GBG Cebu is one of the chapters of Google Business Group worldwide. Google Business Group is a non-profit community of business professionals sharing knowledge about Google web technologies for business success. GBG is represented by local groups (GBG chapters) which organize free social gatherings, workshops, online hangouts, larger events and other activities for business professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs to better market their company online, successfully sell products or services on the internet or improve internal / external business processes for their organization. Currently, there are around 100 GBG chapters in 27 countries. The initiative was started by and is backed by Google, but driven by local chapter managers and the community members to connect, learn and impact overall success of their businesses; it is independent from the Google Corporation. GBG Cebu chapter was first founded by Fleire Castro and Bjorn Bernales on July 2012. Currently managed by Jane Vestil, Rome Nicolas, and Nicole Padin.
