Home-A-Genius is a Smart Home project that aims to integrate various reputable brands of smart devices into a single platform to achieve higher home convenience, comfort and cost efficiency. It consist of a light weight home server, native iOS app and unique custom built AI that can address most of your smart home needs from anywhere in the world. High privacy is also achieved by keeping data to within the home compound.

Home-Start Edinburgh West and South West is based in Gorgie and provides support to families across the West and South-West Neighbourhoods of Edinburgh. Our Home-Start scheme (formerly Home Start Edinburgh South Central) was founded in 2000 and has 14 years experience of supporting families and volunteers in the local community. We are a small, friendly team of four part-time staff consisting of a Senior Co-ordinator, Co-ordinator, Family Support Worker and Administrator. We are managed by a dedicated team of trustees who give their time to oversee the development and financial management of the team. Our vision: For our community to be one in which every parent has the support they need to give their children the best possible start in life. Our purpose: Our services include home visits to families and the provision of support groups. Home visits are the core of our service model. We offer Play@Home, Bookbug for the Home, PEEP and Home Safety tools in order to better engage with families in the course of home visits.
