Είναι παρούσα για να αγωνιστεί και να διασφαλίσει τα δικαιώματα και τις ελευθερίες του ανθρώπου στον ψηφιακό κόσμο, όταν αυτά αμφισβητούνται ή κινδυνεύουν από ενέργειες δημοσίων οργάνων, ιδιωτών ή ιδιωτικών οργανισμών. Αποτελούμε το μόνο πλήρες μέλος της EDRi στην Ελλάδα. Είμαστε μία επικεντρωμένη στο σκοπό μας ΑΜΚΕ, με έτος ίδρυσης το 2018. Όλα τα κεφάλαιά μας πηγαίνουν κατευθείαν προς το έργο μας. Τέλος, όταν εντοπίζουμε παραβιάσεις του νομικού πλαισίου προστασίας Δικαιωμάτων του Ανθρώπου, οργανώνουμε στρατηγικές νομικές δράσεις ενώπιον των αρμοδίων εποπτικών και δικαστικών αρχών σε εθνικό και ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο. Homo Digitalis is the first Greek Non-Governmental Civil Non-Profit Organization that focuses on the protection and promotion of Human Rights in the digital age. It is present in order to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms in the digital world when the latter are challenged or jeopardized by public authorities, natural persons or private organizations. We are a civil society organisation that is focused on its objective. We were founded in 2018 and all of our resources are directly invested in our work. We are the only Greek member of EDRi. We help the legislators understand issues related to human rights in the contemporary digital era. Additionally we raise public awareness by organizing public campaigns, contributing to educative actions and publishing informative content. Lastly we organise strategic legal actions before supervisory / judicial authorities when rights are jeopardised.
