Hope for Education and Leadership in Afghanistan organization (HELA) is a non-political, non-profit and non-government organization, which is devoted to Model United Nation (MUN) for the first time in Afghanistan. The organization goal is to create future leaders of Afghanistan throughout the country through Model United Nation (MUN) international project which exist in more than 100 countries of the world and focuses on capacity building training, awareness programs, research, academic workshops, international NUN conferences and public speaking. Since establishment the organization lunched many international projects, workshops and national and international conferences.

Hope Haven is a nonprofit organization serving children, young adults and families with a variety of educational, developmental and mental health needs. Hope Haven provides care to a wide range of clients, including those with: * Learning challenges and disabilities, such as dyslexia and attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder; * Developmental needs, such as those related to autism, Down syndrome and other challenges; * Mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety or repercussions of divorce. At Hope Haven, we believe every child can learn... and we can prove it!

Hope Haven is a Therapeutic Community that provides a foundation of recovery for individuals and families impacted by Substance Use Disorder so they can build healthy independent lives. Hope Haven was founded in 1978 by Arietta Black and Alice Trotter. Concerned with the lack of resources for women in early recovery from alcoholism, they went door to door gathering signatures of support, which they leveraged into a grant from Lance, Inc. Hope Haven used those funds to open its first home, serving five women seeking to rebuild their lives on a solid foundation of recovery. Today, Hope Haven is a licensed Therapeutic Community, which is a national best practice for the treatment of Substance Use Disorder. We serve more than 300 men, women, and children annually, including individual men and women, single moms with kids, single dads with kids, and intact families. Residents complete our long term program that consists of individual and group counseling, workforce development, job readiness, medical care, housing placement assistance, and more, preparing them for healthy independent living.

Hope Haven nurtures independence through a broad range of services for children, adults, and families with unique challenges. Committed staff value and equip individuals according to their strengths and abilities. Services are provided in Iowa and Southwest Minnesota.

Hope House Foundation is nonprofit organization providing supportive, independent living services to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities exclusively in their own homes. We are the only organization in Virginia to provide this type of service; serving the Hampton Roads region of Virginia.
