The Houston Chapter of RIMS (The Risk Management Society) was formed in 1953 and serves our members in the greater Houston area. Our mission is to provide the highest quality services, education and information to those who work in and support the risk management profession. Houston RIMS offers monthly meetings which include networking opportunities and guest speakers addressing pertinent topics that impact the risk management industry. Each year, we present our Fall Conference with a full-day of speakers and panel discussions, targeted to enhance the professional development of members and those who support risk management in the area.

The SaberCats are Houston's very own professional rugby team. With a collection of the best rugby talent recruited locally, Nationally and Internationally, The SaberCats will be competing in Major League Rugby's inaugural 2018 season. Houston Sports & Social Club (HoustonSSC) provides co-ed adult social sports and events to more than 30,000 members of Houston's community. Our leagues run year round and include 9 different sports and a variety of tournaments. HoustonSSC offers leagues and events to young professionals, new residents, and companies who are looking to meet people, stay active, have fun, and give back. Since 1952, our mission has been to encourage and promote amateur tennis in Houston regardless of age, gender, disability, or level of play. Our ultimate goal is to support and foster good health and sportsmanship through tennis, the sport for a lifetime.

Spreading employability skills in collaboration with Bal Bharati Academy and ASSOCHAM. Houston Skill Up gradation and Testing Centre has entered in to a tripartite agreement of collaboration with ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) and M/s Bal Bharati Academy to organize vocational education, skilling, and employment in India and abroad for candidates including helping them get self employment in India or exploring overseas employment opportunities. This is a signal recognition of our centre and a sign of confidence in our capabilities. Indias first largest International Standard State of the art Trade testing, certification and interview center Houston brings together everything that a recruitment agency would desire in terms of trade testing, certification and an interview centre in one place. It offers you a large, well-designed facility that can accommodate up to 1000 people at one go, for testing, certification and interviews. Our sprawling facility at Kurla,Mumbai and Bhiwandi, Thane is spread out over 15,000 and 50,000sq feet , which is geared to handle both small and large scale testing, certification and interviews. We have set up similar testing and training infrastructure in Delhi and Gorakhpur to cater to the North Indian market. Each of these facilities feature 15,000 sq feet of area for testing and Skill Upgradation.
