The Croatian Employment Service is a public institution owned by the Republic of Croatia, constituted under Law on mediation in employment and entitlements during unemployment, aimed at resolving employment and unemployment related issues in their broadest sense. The beginnings of the Croatian Employment Service can be traced back to the 8th Assembly Session of the free royal town of Zagreb, held on November 5th 1906, when the town council, Antun Seifert, suggested: “Let the town council adopt the statute suggesting the establishment of the Institution for mediation between the providers and the seekers of job and service. OUR VISION The Croatian Employment Service plays a leading role in the development of the Croatian labour market, particularly when it comes to balancing the total labour supply and demand aimed at increasing employment. OUR MISSION Effective mediation in the labour market achieved by increasing the quality of service adjusted to the clients`​ needs, along with the development of knowledge, skills and abilities of the CES employees and the promotion of cooperation of the labour market actors.

The Catholic University of Croatia was established on 3 June, 2006, by decree "Luce vera illuminata"​ (Illuminated by true light), signed by the Archbishop Cardinal, Josip Bozanić, in the name of its founder, the Archdiocese of Zagreb. Since 2015 Catholic University of Croatia is a member of the International Federation of Catholic Universities. The University conducts the following under-graduate and graduate study programs: History, Sociology, Psychology, Communication Science and Nursing. Hrvatsko katoličko sveučilište (HKS) osnovano je dana 3. lipnja 2006. godine dekretom Luce vera illuminata (Istinskom svjetlošću obasjana), koji je u ime Osnivača Zagrebačke nadbiskupije potpisao nadbiskup Josip kardinal Bozanić. Naše Sveučilište pripada široj skupini katoličkih sveučilišta koja su stekla velik ugled u društvima u kojima djeluju. Od 2015. godine HKS je član Međunarodne federacije katoličkih sveučilišta (International Federation of Catholic Universities). Hrvatsko katoličko sveučilište orijentirano je na raspoloživa iskustva i modele što ih primjenjuju najbolja sveučilišta u skupini, vodeći računa o hrvatskom društvenom kontekstu i specifičnostima hrvatskog visokoškolskog sustava. Na Sveučilištu se izvode preddiplomski i diplomski sveučilišni studiji povijesti, psihologije, sociologije, komunikologije i sestrinstva.
