All students studying at the University of Hull are automatically members of Hull University Union (HUU). We are a charity, helping students during their time at university to create change, gain new skills, access help and support when needed and most importantly have a great time! All of the profit we generate through our commercial services goes straight back into the student experience here. We take pride in our Students Union and the excellence of our services has been recognised with a Gold award in the Students Union Evaluation Initiative (SUEI) and with our status as NUS Students Union of the Year (2012). HUU is run by Students who have been elected by their fellow students. These Sabbatical Officers listen to the problems students face individually or as groups and campaign for improvements their aim is to ensure students studying at the University of Hull gain valuable life skills as well as the best education possible.

Hull's School is the first English college in Zürich for teenagers and adults. The four-year college programme covers the UK Fifth and Sixth Forms. Students are prepared for the IGCSE, GCE A-level examinations. 85% of the students are German-speaking while 15% of the students are bilingual (English and German) or speak English or a language other than German as their mother tongue. 10% of the students do not have Swiss nationality. The college has two buildings a stone's throw from the Zürich Opera House and counts about 200 adolescents and about 40 adults.
