Haas Trucking was started in 1987 with one truck by owner Ed Haas. In 1992, he purchased multiple trucks and began steady growth of the Company. Throughout the recession, Haas weathered the storm and positioned ourselves for long-term sustainability. Haas Trucking has the advantages of a large carrier but is truly a family-started business by a Trucker for Truckers. We pride ourselves on the culture and atmosphere we have built at Haas and place a strong focus on making our drivers feel like family. We guarantee home time while still making a great income. Over the last decade we have streamlined the company focusing on 53'​ Premium Dry van service and our “Dream Glider” Fleet. We have developed local and dedicated customers while continuing to expand our customer-base. We are primarily a Midwest carrier but do service 48 states. “Dream Glider” is a term used by our company to convey the top-of-the-line fleet that we have developed. Our gliders are equipped with extra running lights, chrome tanks, chrome bumpers, satellite radio, factory installed refrigerators, auxiliary a/c and heat, and pre-emission technology.

Haas is the tri-state area's representative for the Melink Intelli-hood. Haas can provide a detailed energy analysis to determine the return on investment for each specific savings opportunity. Haas@Work is a unique student staffed innovation agency - connecting UC Berkeley faculty and MBA/MIMS students with companies interested in promoting and driving innovation in semester-long engagements covering the full innovation cycle. It is the flagship program of UC Berkeley-Haas Business School's Innovation Creativity and Design Practice, focused on customer-centered and design-thinking based approaches to applied innovation. Our goal is to help firms enhance their competitiveness and collaborate across boundaries, while preparing the next generation of Berkeley graduates to lead change responsibly. With over 500 program alumni and 50+ clients, we are one of the largest innovation agencies on the West Coast. Past clients include Adobe, Clorox, HP, Intel, Panasonic, Paypal, SAP, VF and US Bank. Our faculty coaches are leading "pracademics"​ -- acting as both thought leaders and practitioners in Human Centered Design based methodologies. Student consultants have gone on to work in full time innovation roles in industry, prominent design agencies, and strategy firms.

The Haasnoot Fish Group consists of companies and partnerships that aim for maximum efficiency and sustainability in the catching, processing, production and distribution of fish, and fish-related products throughout the entire supply chain. The origins of the Haasnoot Fish Group are in herring. With over 65 years of experience of everything from catching to processing herrings, the company, which began in Katwijk, has a wealth of experience. This is combined with state-of-the-art operations and knowledge of products and markets. Our close relationship with ship owners and skippers guarantees a complete range of herring products, including young herring (matjes), smoked herring and salted herring. The addition of the company 1Bite Foods to the group has greatly expanded the range of (seafood) delicatessen in the exclusive assortment of luxury snacks. In addition to the many products we make ourselves, we also offer a wide selection of excellent seafood specialities. The group maintains contacts with numerous producers in other countries, for which we have provided sales and distribution for many years.
