Welcome to the Haberdashers' Aske's Federation. Our three Academies provide an education for children aged 3-18 in South London. We have been educating young people in this part of London since 1876 and throughout that time our approach has been epitomised by high standards and academic excellence, a tradition that continues today. Our values of aspiration and achievement, personal responsibility, self-discipline and mutual respect are evident in all our work and result in young people who develop and grow as independent, resourceful and resilient individuals. Our commitment is that, working in partnership with you, we can ensure your child gets the best possible start in life. All children and young people who attend our schools have the opportunity to gain academic qualifications to equip them well for the next stage of their life, but we provide so much more than that. Our vision is that by the time young people leave us they will have experienced a whole range of opportunities that not only build their mind but also build their character. As a result they are fully prepared to be successful in their adult lives as workers, as parents and as partners.

Habs is based on a rural, 100-acre site in leafy Elstree, Hertfordshire, whilst being only 14 miles from central London and nearby to junctions on the M1 and M25. The School believes it has the largest coach network of any school in the UK, allowing boys from far and wide to benefit from a Haberdashers’ education. The School, for pupils aged between 4 and 18 years old, offers an energetic and enthusiastic learning environment for inquisitive boys in a simply outstanding environment, with truly exceptional facilities. The School has a rich history of producing confident and self-motivated young men, who are fully prepared for the challenges of the future. The Old Haberdashers’ are testament to this. Boys leave the School knowing that they have benefited from the very best, well-rounded educational experience, the quality of pastoral care and the opportunity to take part in the most varied of co-curricular programmes. Founded in 1875, Haberdashers’ Girls’ School is a leading independent day school for girls aged 4-18 and our academic results place us amongst the highest ranked schools in the UK. We provide a challenging, positive, stimulating and secure community in which our students enjoy working hard to fulfil their potential. One of our unique features is the fact that we are based on the same campus as Habs Boys. This provides us with the best of both worlds; a single-sex education in a co-educational environment.
