Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County (HFHPBC) builds strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. Founded in 1986, HFHPBC has served deserving families in our community by working in partnership to provide affordable housing. Since our inception, we have built over 200 homes and repaired and preserved an additional 50 owner-occupied homes. Partner families must fall in the low to very low income range, making 30 -80% of the median income earned in Palm Beach County. Once need is determined, future homeowners volunteer 400 sweat equity hours and attend 8 weeks of home preparedness / financial literacy classes, in order to be issued a 30 year, no interest mortgage. Habitat for Humanity of Washington County is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a non-profit, ecumenical housing organization. We are a ministry that seeks to eliminate substandard housing and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Working with families and volunteers of all backgrounds in equal partnership, Habitat builds homes, builds communities, and builds hope. Poverty and inadequate housing not only affect those living in the situation, they affect the whole community! They breed crime, drugs, hopelessness, and despair. Being a homeowner is a victory; it changes people. We see Habitat homeowners go back to school and get their GEDs, enter college, do all kinds of things they never believed they could do before they moved into their house. By their own initiative, through their own pride and hope, they change. Everyone, every last person, deserves decent shelter. It speaks to the most basic of human needs. We each have need for food, clothing, education, medical care, and companionship; but first we must have a place to live and grow. Habitat for Humanity of Washington County seeks to build lives as well as houses. Through the houses we build, hope is restored, lives are changed, and communities become healthier as the cycle of need is broken.

Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha & Jefferson Counties builds decent, affordable homes with families who are unable to purchase a home through traditional methods. Habitat does not give houses away; we believe in giving a hand up, not a handout. By providing a home with an affordable mortgage, homeowners obtain self-sufficiency and break the cycle of poverty. We believe it takes a community to build a community, so we hope you will join in supporting our mission. Partner families contribute "sweat equity" hours per adult to take the place of a down payment. Volunteers contribute time and talent to reduce labor costs. Our ReStore revenue, sponsorship, and donations help to reduce construction costs. Habitat Waukesha is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Habitat for Humanity Regina exists because of the need for affordable housing in our community. We work to mobilize volunteers, organizations, corporations and the community, to support homeownership opportunities for low income families. The Habitat program provides families in Regina the opportunity to purchase a home at fair-market value with an interest free, zero downpayment mortgage that is set at 25% of their gross annual income. The Regina ReStore accepts donations of new and gently used household items, building supplies, construction materials, and other household goods. Those items are then inspected, cleaned and made ready for the floor. The proceeds from these sales go to fund Habitat for Humanity Regina's administration function, so that when you donate to Habitat, your donation goes directly to building homes for local, low income families.
