Health Solutions Research Incorporated (HSR) is an IRS recognized 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to performing patient- and provider-focused research in the field of healthcare. Our Mission: To research the needs of patients & providers for health IT solutions leading to higher quality and lower cost health care in America. The relative high cost and poor outcomes of the US healthcare system as compared to the rest of the developed world is well documented. At HSR, we research solutions addressing this situation and work with providers, insurers, Health IT vendors, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), pharmaceutical companies, government health agencies and other entities within the healthcare ecosystem to implement such solutions. Our focus is on the patient needs from the healthcare system and in patient-provider interaction. Our Vision: Focusing on the Patient & Patient-Provider interaction will illuminate solutions to increase the quality and lower the cost of the US Healthcare system. The most important component of a healthcare system is the interaction between a doctor and a patient, which should result in improved health of that patient. We are confident that solutions to address cost and quality issues in healthcare are achievable when we focus our attention on this relationship.
