Heritage Bank has grown from our origins in Toowoomba in 1875 to become one of Australia’s largest customer-owned banks. Heritage is proudly customer-owned and committed to giving back to the communities we serve. In March 2023, Heritage Bank entered a new phase in our history, by merging with People’s Choice Credit Union to create Australia’s leading member-owned banking organisation. While we have now come together as a single organisation, we will continue to operate under the Heritage Bank and People’s Choice brands for an interim period while we continue our integration process. We believe that God’s grace is available to all people, no matter who they are, what they have done, or where they come from, because God’s mercy is loving and kind. We are a people under grace. We desire to make Him known. From Lynchburg to the other side of the world, our passion is to show Jesus Christ to the nations. We desire to share the love and hope that we have experienced in Christ and to lead others into salvation and spiritual maturity as followers of Christ. In obedience to God who first loved mankind, we now desire to go to others so that all might hear of the truth and salvation that is found only in His name.
