HH BioTechnologies (HhBio) works in area of Cancer Systems Biology and in Plant Biotechnology. HH BioTechnologies was incorporated in 2007 as a private limited company and start functioning at Biotech Park, Lucknow (a Department of Biotechnology (DBT) supported incubator facility). In initial days of working the company’s research focus was on Plant Biotechnology and put forward a noble idea of raising diagnostic antibodies inside tobacco plant, but due to complex and highly unstable nature of plant genome, it first proposed to apply Systems Biology approach in Plant Gene Expression profile. From 2009, onwards HhBio scales up its idea and applied Systems Biology approach to cancer cell modeling, to study quantitative Cancer Gene Expression profile and in-depth exploring all the possible events which leads from normal cell transformation to tumor and then to metastasis, through careful examination of Cancer Genomes and diseased patient microarray data analysis. Till yet scientist at HhBio have analyzed hundreds of samples for Breast and Lung Cancers (the two most significant and deadly cancers worldwide) and identified 9 noble biomarkers. Scientists are expanding sample numbers to check the consistency of these noble drug able targets. HhBio has three main locations of operations in India - at Biotech Park, Lucknow, at Agra and at National Capital Region. It operates a science outsourcing division OmicsX, a wholly owned subsidiary.
