HHGS (the Student Union of the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg) is the Student Union for all students enrolled in economy, business administration, environmental science, law or logistic management. With over 2000 members we make sure the students'​ interests are always accounted for. The main purpose and obligation of a student association is to conduct educational quality assurance, as stated by Swedish law. We also have a purpose to nurture and encourage social activities associated with the studies. I.e. our mission is to focus on the activites our students and members find relevant as compliments to their academic activites. UNION COMPANIES HHGS is the owner of 8 student-run companies. It is with great pride we can offer our students to practice their academic skills in the workplace alongside their studies, giving them a huge head start before graduation. HandelsConsulting, our first company, was officially formed in 1998 and is today the largest student-run consulting firm in all of the nordic countries. Handels Rekrytering, formed in 2008, is the largest student-run employment agency in the nordic countries. Handels Capital Management kicked off in 2010 with the purpose of managing and investing our funds on the stock market. Our communication agency, Handels Marketing, was formed in 2011. Our latest company, HandelsJuristerna, was formed as recent as 2013 where our law students provide law services for private persons as well as companies. Amongst these we can also find Handels Finance and Nöjes AB. All companies are owned through HHGS Holding AB.

The Hawaii Health Information Exchange (HIE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit established in 2006 by leading health care stakeholders in Hawaii for the purpose of improving health care delivery throughout the State through seamless, effective, and safe health information exchange. In September of 2009, Hawaii HIE was designated by the State to develop and implement a statewide health information exchange that will ultimately feed into the national health information network.
