The Higher Education Leadership Institute (HELI) is an Institute of Higher Education aimed at fulfilling a niche role in the independent higher education sector. Through its team of higher education experts and researchers, HELI delivers global best-practice advisory services, mentoring and training to higher education providers. HELI has been registered by TEQSA as an Institute of Higher Education (CRICOS Provider No: 03845H | HE Provider No: PRV14266). HELI aims to be a catalyst for the continued professional development of learning and teaching professionals and higher education teachers globally. HELI was granted approval as a higher education provider in 2017 to deliver our accredited Graduate Certificate of Higher Education Academic Practice. This one-year part-time online course is specially designed for academics working, or planning to work, in the independent higher education sector to enhance their knowledge, skills and understanding of academic practice in independent higher education providers (iHEPs). HELI also offers expert higher education advisory services. We can assist your organisation to navigate the complex regulatory framework that ensures the quality of Australia’s higher education sector. We also undertake regulatory due diligence on behalf of prospective purchasers of existing HEPs and provide strategic advice in relation to regulatory matters associated with takeover and merger activity in the Australian private higher education sector.
