In 1979 Wade Hutto and Mike Lucksinger formed a law partnership and purchased Llano County Abstract Company beginning with a support staff of 2 employees. In 1989 Burnet County Abstract Company was purchased. In 1990 the two companies merged to form Highland Lakes Title. Today, Highland Lakes Title and Hutto and Lucksinger Law Firm have over 35 employees. Highland Lakes Title handles real estate transactions for residential, commercial, ranch, resort, land development, refinancing, home equity loans, reverse mortgages and more. Highland Lakes Title has locations in Llano, Burnet, Kingsland, Marble Falls and Horseshoe Bay, Texas.
