SANDY BAY RFC was formed in 1990 as a mini rugby club. Since then it has grown into one of the largest junior rugby clubs in HK. The Senior section of the club can trace its root to 1994 as Aberdeen RFC, who later became HKCC Rugby in 2004. The two formally merged in the summer of 2018. OUR MISSION - To develop a top-down and bottom-up community rugby club for the promotion of the game and to provide an environment for players to learn and excel at the skills of the sport. OUR LOCATION - We are located at HKU Stanley Ho Sports Ground for the juniors and Aberdeen Sports Ground for the seniors, in the South-Western part of Hong Kong. OUR MEMBERS - 200 Senior Players (4 men’s teams, 1 women’s team), 200+ Youth Players and 600+ Minis Players. In total we have 1000+ players and junior parents'​ players. COMMERCIAL PARTNERS - Commercial Partners play a crucial part in the successful running of any rugby club. We like to give good value to our partners by promoting them in all our activities and involving them in the club’s life, which is why our partners stay with us.
