De HMBS Medical Business School by Academica University of Applied Sciences is dé business school van de Nederlandse gezondheidszorg. De school is in 2013 opgericht omdat er vanuit verschillende beroepsorganisaties een grote behoefte ontstond voor kwalitatief goede bedrijfskundige scholing. In de vakopleidingen van medisch professionals wordt namelijk geen aandacht besteed aan bedrijfskundige onderwerpen. Door in te spelen op deze vraag zijn de programma’s van de business school geaccrediteerd door de beroepsverenigingen van medisch specialisten, huisartsen, tandartsen, dierenartsen en paramedici waardoor de deelnemers accreditatiepunten voor hun deelname verwerven.
