L'Institut Français de la Betterave est une association interprofessionnelle, c'est l'organisme des différents acteurs du secteur de la betterave industrielle : planteurs de betteraves et industriels fabricants de sucre, d'alcool et de bioéthanol. L'objectif de l'ITB est d'orienter et de coordonner tout ce qui peut augmenter les performances économiques de la culture de la betterave et améliorer son utilisation industrielle dans le respect de l'environnement. Les équipes de l'ITB sont constituées avant tout de spécialistes habitués au terrain prêts à mettre en pratique les plus récents résultats de la recherche.

Established in 1920 with the name “Technische Hogeschool”, Institut Teknologi Bandung—or ITB for short—is the oldest technical university in Indonesia. Located in Bandung City, West Java, Indonesia, at Jalan Ganesa number 10, ITB now has 12 faculties or schools with 50 bachelor study programs, 52 master’s programs, 27 doctor’s programs, and 2 professional programs. ITB’s vision is to be an outstanding, distinguished, independent, and internationally recognized university that leads changes towards welfare improvement of Indonesian nations and the world. Since 2014, under the leadership of Professor Kadarsah Suryadi as the rector, Institut Teknologi Bandung has declared to move from research university towards entrepreneurial university. Its purpose is to produce excellent graduates who are ready to be professional employees, excellent researchers in their fields, and great entrepreneurs whose products and researches can be applied in society. Berawal dari bertemunya para pemerhati, pencinta dan praktisi pendidikan yakni Prof. Dr. Made Bandem, MA., (saat itu Rektor ISI Jogjakarta)STMIK STIKOM Bali, Dr. Dadang Hermawan (praktisi pendidikan), Drs. Ida Bagus Dharmadiaksa, M.Si., Ak. (Dosen) dan Drs. Satria Dharma (praktisi pendidikan) pada tahun 2.000 yang begitu menaruh perhatian atas pesat dan dinamisnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) di dunia termasuk di Indonesia dan Bali, namun di lain pihak perguruan tinggi bidang TIK sampai dengan jenjang sarjana belum ada. Maka pada tanggal 20 Mei 2001, berdirilah Yayasan Widya Dharma Shanti yang akan menjadi Badan Penyenggara Perguruan Tinggi Swasta dan selanjutnya diajukanlah ijin pendirian STMIK STIKOM Bali kepada Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional. Dengan berbagai usaha dan lika liku pengurusan ijin serta doa, maka pada tanggal 10 Agustus 2002 keluarlah ijin dimaksud dengan nomor 157/D/O/2002 dengan 2 jurusan / program studi yakni Sistem Komputer (jenjang S1) dan Manajemen Informatika (jenjang D3) lalu pada tahun 2009 ada tambahan program studi baru yakni Sistem Infomasi (jenjang S1). Saat ini, STIKOM Bali sudah menjadi perguruan tinggi bertaraf internasional yang sangat dipercaya oleh masyarakat, terbukti dengan jumlah mahasiswa yang sedang kuliah tidak kurang dari 6.000 orang dan alumni yang mencapai hampir 4.000 orang (tahun 2015). Selain itu berbagai kerjasama dalam bidang tri dharma perguruan tinggi telah dilakukan dengan berbagai pihak baik instansi pemerintah, instansi/perusahaan swasta, BUMN, BUMD, Perguruan Tinggi baik dalam maupun luar negeri.

Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) adalah perguruan tinggi negeri yang telah diresmikan pendiriannya pada tanggal 6 Oktober 2014 oleh Presiden RI Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Kampus ITK berada di kota Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur, Indonesia. Proses pendirian ITK berawal dari keinginan pemerintah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan SDM Teknik di luar pulau Jawa. Pada tahun 2011 Dirjen Dikti mengundang perwakilan dari Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Surabaya untuk memulai studi kelayakan pendirian institut teknologi di Kalimantan. ITS kemudian membentuk tim untuk melakukan studi kelayakan pembangunan sebuah Institut Teknologi di Kalimantan. Sebelum itu, pemerintah provinsi Kalimantan Timur telah menyanggupi untuk membantu pembangunan Institut Teknologi tersebut dengan menyediakan lahan seluas 300 Ha di Balikpapan, tepatnya di jalan Soekarno Hatta KM 15 (Jl. Sungai Wain), kelurahan Karang Joang. Melalui Forum FGD yang diselenggarakan di Balikpapan dan Samarinda oleh tim Studi Kelayakan dari ITS, tercetuslah nama Institut Teknologi Kalimantan, ITK. Hasil studi kelayakan tersebut, ditindaklanjuti dengan dimulainya pembangunan gedung ITK dan penerimaan mahasiswa ITK pada tahun 2012. Pada penerimaan mahasiswa angkatan pertama tersebut, ITK menyediakan lima jurusan, yaitu Jurusan Teknik Mesin, Teknik Elektro, Teknik Kimia, Teknik Sipil, dan Teknik Perkapalan, dengan kuota masing-masing jurusan 20 orang. Jalur penerimaan mahasiswa ITK tersebut dilakukan melalui Seleksi Masuk ITK (SMITeK) yang merupakan hasil kerjasama antara ITS dan Pemprov Kaltim. Seluruh mahasiswa berasal dari provinsi Kaltim dan mendapatkan beasiswa Kaltim Cemerlang. Pada tahun 2013, ITK kembali melaksanakan SMITeK, dengan membuka jalur Mandiri Nasional untuk calon mahasiswa yang berasal dari luar Kaltim. Selain itu, juga dibuka lima jurusan baru, yaitu Jurusan Teknik Material dan Metalurgi, Fisika, Matematika, Sistem Informasi, dan Jurusan Perencanaan Wilayah dan Kota.
