The Institute of People Management (IPM) is a professional membership body representing Human Resources Management. It's a not-for-profit independent body with official recognition from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Since its inception, its core goal has been to enhance the competence of HR Professionals by providing knowledge and tools for strategic and operational people management and development that contribute to the growth, profitability and sustainability of businesses. IPM is also the founding member of the African Human Resource Confederation (AHRC), the AU of Human Resources and its affiliated to the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA). The Institute of Physical Chemistry (IPC) acting under the umbrella of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) is the leading research institution dealing with various aspects of chemistry. Funded in 1955, is among the best scientific units in Poland, according to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. IPC PAS has rights to use “HR Excellence in Research” logo, a distinction that confirms highest standards in recruitment of scientists, support in their career development as well as engagement of the Institute to the society. IPC PAS hosts multiple interdisciplinary groups that works at the border of chemistry, physics and biology. In such a vibrant environment new ideas are being developed from basic science to applications, including a number of active spin-off companies. The present research programme of the institute comprises five branches of physics: particle physics, the physics of condensed matter, solid state physics, optics and plasma physics. It also corresponds to the way how the institute is divided into major research divisions.
The Institute of Physics Belgrade, a National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, is a first-class research institution dedicated to the study of physics and related disciplines. The research conducted here into the fundamental mechanisms of nature is of immense value to the scientific, educational, cultural, and the overall socioeconomic development of Serbia. Founded in 1961, the Institute of Physics was a product of a surge in physics research in postwar Yugoslavia. The initiative for its founding came from Aleksandar Milojević, a renowned university professor, based on the need, at the time increasingly evident, to unify all non-nuclear physics research endeavors into a single institution. The Institute of Physics was born. Committed to continuous reexamination, and to kinship, governed by an openness to new ideas and personal betterment, it went through perilous times, but also years of growth and moments of startling discovery. The Institute of Physics in Warsaw is a very active high calibre research center. In the last 10 years more than 3000 articles in internationally recognized scientific magazines were published by authors affiliated in the Institute. Many of our researchers are chosen as members of international scientific organizations, committees and are often invited to give talks at international conferences. The Institute collaborates with many institutions all over the world, including the best European, American and Japanese research centers. In the last 3 years more than 20 international research projects were granted and have been carried out in the Institute - most of them with the financial aid of the EC. The wide international cooperation of the Institute resulted in year 2000 in establishing in the Institute European Centre of Excellence - CELDIS. In 2002 two other Centers of Excellence were formed - ASPECT and CEPHEUS. In recognition of all these achievements, in 2001 the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences was awarded the "Crystal Brussel", a prize given to the institution, that in the best way took advantage of the European Commission funds in the frames of the EC 5th Framework Programme. Recently, in April 2004, the Institute was again nominated to this award.

The Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microfusion (IPPLM) is a research institute supervised by the Polish minister responsible for energy. It started its activity on 1 January 1976 on the initiative of Prof. Sylwester Kaliski. The IPPLM conducts research and performs development works in the field of: • physics of plasma generated in high-current discharges • physics of plasma generated by laser pulses • nuclear fusion in magnetic plasma confinement • development of plasma diagnostics • development of plasma technologies, including electric propulsion In Poland, the Institute coordinates research on nuclear fusion under the research programme of the European Atomic Energy Community EURATOM carried out by the EUROfusion consortium. To this end, the IPPLM has established the Scientific and Industrial Centre of New Energy Technologies (CeNTE) which brings together research teams from over 20 research institutions and industrial companies in the country. The EUROfusion programme is aimed at implementing the activities described in the European fusion roadmap. The extensive international cooperation of the IPPLM manifests itself in the participation of Polish researchers in many European and world research programmes, such as JET, W7-X, ITER, LaserLab and ELI. The Institute is the organizer of the international Summer School of Plasma Physics for young researchers called the Kudowa Summer School "Towards Fusion Energy".
