Zakład Automatyki Przemysłowej INTEC S.A. prowadzi działalność od 1991 roku. Od chwili powstania nasza firma projektuje i produkuje elementy i systemy automatyki dla przemysłu energetycznego. Na początku działalności firma skupiła się na produkcji urządzeń elektronicznych instalowanych w newralgicznych miejscach systemów automatyki, blokad i zabezpieczeń obiektów energetycznych, w tym pozycjonerów siłowników elektrycznych. Rozszerzając stopniowo zakres kompetencji i zasięg rynkowy oraz zacieśniając współpracę z partnerami branżowymi, doprowadziliśmy do powstania grupy kapitałowo-konsorcjalnej, wyspecjalizowanej w produkcji regulacyjnej armatury przemysłowej, sterujących nią siłowników elektrycznych i pneumatycznych oraz systemów ich pozycjonowania. Współpraca techniczna i kapitałowa z Zakładem Produkcji Urządzeń Automatyki (ZPUA) Sp. z o.o. zaowocowała rozwinięciem produkcji najnowocześniejszych w kraju siłowników elektrycznych: inteligentnych - typoszeregu 3XI oraz przeznaczonych dla armatury odcinającej - typoszeregu XSM. W roku 2009 wprowadziliśmy do naszej oferty napędy elektryczne w wykonaniu przeciwwybuchowym Ex. Równolegle z rozwijaniem produkcji siłowników elektrycznych zostało powołane Konsorcjum Przemysłowe z Fabryką Armatury Przemysłowej WAKMET Sp.j., w celu zapewnienia rozwoju w produkcji armatury regulacyjnej i siłowników pneumatycznych. Zakres produkcji obejmuje armaturę ogólnego zastosowania, a także konstrukcje specjalizowane dla procesów energetycznych. Kompleksowość oferty planowaliśmy od poczatku działalności. Stworzyliśmy silne oddziały aplikacji AKPiA i aplikacji technologicznych, dzięki którym możemy Państwu zaoferować automatyzację obiektów energetycznych oraz budowę całych odcinków technologicznych "pod klucz"​, zapewniając pełną obsługę w zakresie projektowania, kompletacji, dostaw, montażu i uruchomienia, szkoleń, serwisu gwarancyjnego oraz pogwarancyjnego.
