The International Language Institute (ILI) was founded in 1970 when it began its operations with four English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers and about 15 students. For over 50 years, our company has seen steady growth and developed a strong reputation around the world and locally for quality language training and academic preparation at a superior value. Today, we have hundreds of new students every year. The International Language Institute has provided quality language training to thousands of students from around the world. All of our programs are accredited by ACCET, the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training. ILI is licensed by the DC Educational Licensure Commission and is a member of AAIEP(American Association of Intensive English Programs), TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages), WATESOL (Washington Area Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages), NAFSA (Association of International Educators), and ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.) In August 2015, we moved to a brand-new and custom-built 11,000 square feet facility on Rhode Island Ave NW. This is where our corporate office is located, as well as the International Language Institute (DC). Our new facility is within walking distance to Dupont Circle and Farragut North metro stations in downtown Washington, DC. We are also close to restaurants, coffee shops, banks and other retail venues. We have 26 classrooms, 6 tutorial rooms, 1 computer room and a student lounge. The International Lead Association (ILA) is the trusted global trade association for the lead industry and its member companies are at the forefront of the mining, smelting, refining and recycling of lead. ILA represents the producers of about 3 million tonnes of lead. The association is working towards a vision of a sustainable global lead industry that is recognised for the positive contribution it makes to society. ILA takes a leadership role in promoting responsible care and educating society about the benefits of lead for today’s and future generations. Recent studies have shown that lead-based batteries achieve a recycling rate of almost 100% in the EU and USA. With offices in the UK and USA, ILA provides a range of technical, scientific and communications support for member companies, downstream users and the wider lead industry. ILA also supports the development of lead battery research through the Consortium for Battery Innovation which manages the research, development and promotion of lead batteries for markets such as hybrid electric vehicles, start-stop automotive systems and grid-scale energy storage applications.

We're a non-profit international ministry whose mission is to train and mobilize leaders of leaders to reach their nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. ILI trains and mobilizes more than 40,000 Christian leaders each year through the Eight Core Values of the most effective Christian leaders. In 2018, over 900 conferences were hosted in 83 countries. Leadership training is provided through interactive leadership seminars, small groups, and online study. ILI training focuses on the Eight Core Values of the most effective Christians and is currently provided in two to seven-day conferences or through small group studies.
