The International Coach Federation (ICF) is the largest worldwide resource for professional coaches, and the source for those who are seeking a coach. We are a nonprofit organization formed by individual members-professionals who practice coaching, including Executive Coaches, Leadership Coaches, Life Coaches and many more, from around the world. Formed in 1995, today the ICF is the leading global organization, with over 20,000 members, dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high professional standards, providing independent certification, and building a network of credentialed coaches. We exist to support and advance the coaching profession through programs and standards supported by our members and to be an authoritative source on coaching information and research for the public. L’ICF Synergie est le résultat d’une initiative qui a débutée en octobre 2013, sous l’impulsion initiale de la Belgique puis de la Suisse et du Québec. Cette initiative avait pour principal objectif de proposer aux coachs francophones des webinaires gratuits et ainsi d’octroyer des Certificats d’Education Continue de Coaching (CCEUs). Sous l’impulsion des pays fondateurs, en 2015, le projet initial s’est développé auprès de 7 pays francophones (Belgique, France, Luxembourg, Maroc, Québec, Suisse et Tunisie). En novembre 2016, les fondateurs de cette initiative ont passé le flambeau à une nouvelle équipe qui fit évoluer le projet. Celle-ci a, tout d’abord, reprécisé les missions et objectifs à atteindre. Ensuite, elle s’est organisée, structurée et mis en place une stratégie de communication visant à promouvoir ce regroupement et ses actions. C’est ainsi que le 15 mars 2017 est née l’ICF Synergie. Les missions de l’ICF Synergie 1. Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des compétences des coachs francophones d’ICF en encourageant leur mobilisation vis-à-vis de leur développement professionnel. 2. Participer au rayonnement des coachs francophones en favorisant le partage et l’échange de leurs meilleures pratiques. 3. Favoriser la synergie des chapitres francophones par la mise en commun d’outils et de savoir-faire.
