The IoT.bzh project is directly issued from an historical presence of INTEL's R&D teams in Vannes [Brittany/France]. INTEL in Brittany started through WindRiver System that established its first European R&D in Vannes during the '90s to work on embedded operating systems. More recently in 2012, a new team was established: this new team worked mainly around the Linux/Tizen project and contributed significantly to the expansion of Tizen presence into automotive industries by producing Tizen/IVI. Long term success of a project based on "OpenSource"​ components resides in the capability to get its patches and improvements to be accepted upstream by the OpenSource community. This can only happen through well known individuals, clearly identified and respected as expert within the community of developers. OpenSource development imposes team with technical leaders that are officially known, accepted and respected as main contributors. Getting accepted by the community can take years and starting an OpenSource team without a strong and solid base of already well respected technical individual remains hard if not impossible. IOT.BZH was given through INTEL strategy shift a unique opportunity to start from scratch with a "ready to go"​ team base of well known and respected developers. This new team has all the necessary skills to continue the effort started by INTEL in automotive, telecoms or TV market, as well as to expand to other IoT sectors like medical, military, marine, etc.

​IoT4CPS will develop guidelines, methods and tools to enable safe and secure IoT-based applications for automated driving and for smart production. IoT4CPS will support digitalization along the entire product lifecycle, leading to a time-to-market acceleration for connected and autonomous vehicles. IoT4CPS will provide innovative components, leading to efficiency increases for the deployment of autonomous driving functions and in smart production environments, which will be validated in a vehicle and in a smart production demonstrator. The IoT4CPS project is partially funded by the "ICT of the Future" Program of the FFG and the BMVIT.

IoT613 fosters a culture of knowledge, sharing and growth within the local and global IoT community. Through various programming, IoT613 provides a platform for technology and policy professionals to learn, connect and interact with the IoT community for the advancement of technology and economic development. IoT613’s programs include large multi-day annual conferences, training courses and workshops, regular speakers series, networking socials, hackathons, and other community events.

South East Water has a proud legacy as an innovator in the global water industry and so is an ideal place to prove the feasibility, viability and desirability of innovation. Hence regardless of where the technology comes from, it must be ‘proven at South East Water’ before Iota will commercialise.

IOTA is a new-style pharmaceutical discovery company. Built around the scientific expertise and industrial experience of its founders, and leveraged by networked resources, IOTA possesses a wealth of discovery knowledge and experience which we place at your disposal. Modern drug discovery has benefitted enormously from advances in human genomics. IOTA uses transcriptomics to provide individually-tailored gene family-based drug discovery platforms to address the involvement of specific members of gene families in human disease. Our current therapeutic focus is glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is a brain cancer that typically attacks adults at the peak of their working lives and family responsibilities. Other cancers have been ameliorated or cured by modern medicine, but no currently available treatment, either chemical or surgical, appreciably slows the progression of glioblastoma, which is invariably fatal. There is an urgent need for fresh approaches to this intractable cancer. Glioblastoma tumours are unresponsive to our current generalised weaponry of chemotherapy. IOTA has the ability to turn this promise into clinical efficacy in a reasonable timescale by using the tools we already have to hand in transformative ways. IOTA has developed a suite of transcriptomics-based diagnostics that compare and contrast drug-treated, patient-derived tumour cells, looking in detail at the drug targets that they express, and defining specific FDA-approved drugs that could be used immediately in treatment strategies in the clinic.

Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated (ΙΦΘ) is a nationally incorporated, historically African-American, collegiate fraternity whose purpose is the development and perpetuation of Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Fidelity and Brotherhood among Men. It was founded on September 19, 1963 at Morgan State University (then Morgan State College) in Baltimore, Maryland. At present, it consists of over 70,000 members. There are currently over 300 undergraduate and alumni chapters, as well as colonies located in 40 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, The Bahamas, Colombia, South Korea, and Japan. The fraternity holds membership in the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), an umbrella organization comprising nine international historically African-American Greek letter sororities and fraternities, and the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC).
