Founded in Brazil in 1999, IOTO International is the first “flavor house” in Latin America completely dedicated to the tobacco industry. We are specialized in the development and production of Flavors and Casings for different types of tobacco products such as: cigarettes, shisha tobacco, reconstituted tobacco, cigarette filters, Blunt, cigars, haystacks, and RYO (Roll Your Own) tobacco. We produce different types of reconstituted tobacco, also known as RECON, and different types of nicotine-free herbal reconstituted films such as sage, chamomile, yerba mate, cocoa, and others. For this we use our own patented process. In 2023 we’ve inaugurated a new product line, IOTO Chemicals. In this line, we supply different market segments that have a need for Propylene Glycol, L-Menthol, Vanillin, Ethyl Vanillin, Maltol and Ethyl Maltol. This is just the beginning of a project in which we are committed to making new raw materials available. We have a global network of representatives, and currently, in addition to our headquarters in Brazil, we have in USA: IOTO USA LLC, specialized in the production of reconstituted tobacco and Purillum LLC, a joint venture with Alliance One, specialized in the production of e-liquids and flavors. IOTO International team, in association with IOTO USA and Purillum, has many specialists with extensive experience in the industry. We are always looking to develop new technologies in flavors, reconstituted films, and e-liquids. Our team consists of PhD’s in chemistry, engineers, chemists, agronomists and flavorists.
