The Irish Mens Sheds Association was formed on January 2011. Our mission is to support the rapid development of the burgeoning Mens Sheds movement throughout the island of Ireland. The Irish Mens Shed Association (IMSA) is a member-based organisation which exists to maintain links and share information the network of mens shed in Ireland. We also act as a representative body to carry the message and ethos of mens sheds onto the national stage. As a grassroots organisation, we believe strongly in the autonomy of each individual shed, as we strive for a future in which all men have the opportunity to maintain and improve their well-being on their own terms within their own communities. What is a Men's Shed? A Mens Shed is any community-based, non-commercial organisation which is open to all men where the primary activity is the provision of a safe, friendly and inclusive environment where the men are able to gather and/or work on meaningful projects at their own pace, in their own time and in the company of other men and where the primary objective is to advance the health and well- being of the participating men. Mens sheds may look like a shed in you back yard yet they innovatively share some characteristics of both community education and health promotion projects.

The Irish Mexican Chamber is an initiative which works to foster closer economic ties between Ireland and Mexico, promote strong business links between Irish and Mexican business communities and support small, medium and large Irish enterprises to consider Mexico as a business destination and vice versa.The Chamber has its origins in the IECM (Irish European Chamber of Commerce in Mexico), established in 1991 by a small group of Irish and Mexican business people who actively promoted trade and investment between the two nations. Over twenty five years on, with an Irish Embassy and team serving Mexico since 1999 and figures for exports to Mexico from Ireland for the first 6 months of 2016 at €672 million and Mexico-Ireland exports at €176 million, huge potential still exists to increase trade between the two countries. The re-launched Irish Mexican Chamber (2016) aims to build on the success of the IECM through the following activities: • Connecting and building a network of respected business professionals and leaders with Irish Mexican interests • Promoting Ireland in Mexico for trade and investment opportunities • Supporting the early steps for Irish companies setting up in Mexico

The objectives of the IMIA are to provide a central representation to the Central Bank of Ireland and other regulatory bodies on behalf of its members; promote good industry practices on regulatory requirements; host educational events on MiFID regulations and other regulatory issues impacting MiFID firms and to promote networking and peer interaction. Irish Mortgage Brokers was founded in 2004 and is a retail brokerage specialising in mortgages, insurance and financial advice, based in Dublin 1.

The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association is the primary support organisation in Ireland providing care for people with MND, their families, friends and carers. The cornerstone of its approach is to put people with MND at the heart of all of its focus, to champion their voice and dignity, to provide information resources and support so as to empower them to make informed decisions for themselves as individuals, whilst also providing every possible support to their families and carers. Since its foundation, the association has developed specialist, individualised, services that reflect the needs of the Irish MND community. Its key activities include home visiting by an MND dedicated nurse, financial assistance towards home care help, provision of specialist medical equipment and appliances on loan free to clients, extensive information, help line and counselling support. Advocacy at a national and local level, addressing key concerns affecting MND sufferers and building overall greater public awareness surrounding the disease is also undertaken, whilst research into the causes and treatment of the disease is supported through specific financial bursaries. Our ethos is to ensure rapid access to these vital services for all of our clients regardless of their location or means. To fund all of these essential services for the MND community we depend heavily on the generosity of the public and friends of the Association, who provide over 75% of the funds required.

Irish National Opera is a newly formed company that merges two of Irelands most innovative opera producers Wide Open Opera and Opera Theatre Company. Irish National Opera has a highly ambitious vision for Irelands opera sector, which builds on the solid foundations of Opera Theatre Company and Wide Open Opera, acknowledging their individual values and missions and taking their operational model to a new level. Irish National Operas mission is focused on: -Delivering an unprecedented commitment to showcasing Irish artists -Maximising public engagement with opera -Brokering and sustaining key institutional partnerships -Ensuring strong leadership and a sustainable governance structure

The farm at Tully was purchased from the Fay family in 1900 by Colonel William Hall Walker. Hall Walker became the most successful breeder of the age, enjoying his finest hour when King Edward VII led Minoru, born and raised at Tully, into Epsom’s winners’ enclosure following a famous victory in the 1909 Derby. In 1915 the farm and all its stock was gifted to the Crown and became The National Stud under the leadership of Sir Henry Greer. The success continued with the farm producing the winners of all five Classics. In 1942 Sun Chariot, born and bred at Tully, earned herself an indelible place in racing history when landing the fillies’ Triple Crown – the 1,000 Guineas, Oaks and St. Leger – for King George VI. In 1943, the newly formed Irish Government took over the land and buildings at an agreed valuation. In 1945 the Irish National Stud Company Ltd. was formed and it officially took over the running of the Stud on 31st August, 1946. Almost seven decades later, in May 2011, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II came to the Irish National Stud to see for herself where the winners of five Classics for her family were produced.

The Irish National Teachers' Organisation (INTO), which was founded in 1868, is the largest teachers' trade union in Ireland. It represents teachers at primary level in the Republic of Ireland, and at primary and post-primary level in Northern Ireland.
