The IEEE Student Branch (60451), College of Engineering Chengannur came into existence on 16th September 1996. Since its inception, the branch has grown from strength to strength becoming the largest in Kerala Section and one of the most active in the entire Region 10 (Asia-Pacific).

IEEE Turkey Young Professionals Affinity Group

Our field of interest includes theory, technology, materials, and applications relating to: The generation, transmission, and detection of ultrasonic waves and related phenomena. Medical ultrasound and associated technologies. Ferroelectric, piezoelectric, and piezomagnetic materials. Frequency generation and control, timing, and time coordination and distribution. These technologies enable sophisticated medical diagnostics, improved sensors for industrial control, lead free electronic components, synchronization for telephony and data transport, and precision timing technology for Global Navigation Satellite Systems. The UFFC is organized into three groups, as our name implies. We typically hold three symposia annually with an objective of strong collaborative interchange and a special focus on the students who study our technology. Some of the best minds in our community volunteer to teach at tutorials and short courses at these symposia.

The IEEE uOttawa Student Branch is the official student branch for the University of Ottawa and the official Sub-Association for Electrical, Computer, and Software Engineering students under the Engineering Students'​ Society (ESS). The Branch was established to provide professional services to improve each student’s experience on campus. This includes accommodating students with access to up-to-date equipment, textbooks, and a quiet work environment. La Branche Étudiante de l'IEEE à uOttawa est la branche étudiante officielle pour l'Université d'Ottawa, ainsi que la sous-association officielle pour les étudiants en génie électrique, génie informatique, et en génie logiciel sous l'Association des Étudiants en Génie (AÉG). La Branche a été établie pour fournir des services professionnels afin d'améliorer l'expérience des étudiants sur le campus. La Branche fournit plusieurs services aux étudiants, tel que l'accès à divers équipements, des manuels scolaires, et un environnement de travail tranquille.

For over 30 years the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society has been providing training and invaluable resources to engineers, designers, and manufacturers. We have helped propel vehicular technology beyond what was thought possible. The Vehicular Technology Society (VTS) is composed of engineers, scientists, students, and technicians, interested in advancing the theory and practice of electrical engineering as it applies to the following areas: - Land Transportation - Railroad/Mass Transit - Mobile Communications - Vehicular Electrotechnology Equipment and Systems - Land, Airborne and Maritime Mobile Services

The IEEE 802 LAN/MAN Standards Committee develops and maintains networking standards and recommended practices for local, metropolitan, and other area networks.
