The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) was founded in 1980. Today it is the world's largest and most widely recognized international association for facility management professionals. The Denver Chapter of IFMA was founded two years later in 1982, making it one of the original chapters since IFMA was established. Since the chapter was established, it has been the largest chapter in the state of Colorado and ranks within the twelve largest chapters in the world. In the past decade, the chapter has won numerous IFMA's Awards of Excellence as a large chapter to include: 2007 Website, 2008 Membership, 2008 Professional Development, 2009 Large Chapter of the Year, 2010 Newsletter, 2011 Website, 2011 Membership, and 2014 Professional Development. The awards reflect the chapter's commitment to IFMA's mission of "globally advance and support the practice of the facility management profession"​.

The International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) began as a small federation with several enthusiastic countries, more than two decades ago. After the passage of the initial stages of its life and at the dawn of an exciting new century, IFMA had grown to 130 member countries worldwide with 5 continental federations, together with existing under a single, unified regulatory body. IFMA accepts and recognizes the mission and role of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). IFMA will always conform and respect the Olympic charter, adopt the code of ethics based on the principles of the IOC.

Criado em 2006 o IFMG Campus Congonhas é uma instituição de ensino gratuita. O campus conta com cursos de nível técnico integrado, nível técnico subsequente e nível superior. Para nível técnico integrado e subsequente os cursos são: mecânica, mineração e edificações; já para graduação são disponibilizados os cursos: Licenciatura em Física, Engenharia de Produção, Engenharia Mecânica.

O Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) é uma instituição que faz parte do programa de expansão da Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica, do Ministério da Educação (MEC). A rede integra 38 Institutos Federais, dois Centros Federais de Educação Tecnológica (Cefet), 24 Escolas Técnicas Vinculadas às Universidades Federais, a Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná e o Colégio Pedro II, do Rio de Janeiro. De acordo com a legislação, os institutos federais são instituições de educação superior, básica e profissional, pluricurriculares e multicampi, especializados na oferta de educação profissional e tecnológica nas diferentes modalidades de ensino,com forte inserção na área de pesquisa aplicada e na extensão. Possuem natureza jurídica de autarquia, detentoras de autonomia administrativa, patrimonial, financeira, didático-pedagógica e disciplinar, com estrutura de organização e funcionamento semelhantes.
