Nestled in the Sivalik Range of the Himalayas, away from the bustle of the metropolis, a new abode of learning has germinated. A few hours before the Himalayan resort Kullu in Himachal Pradesh, once considered "the end of the habitable world", the youngest IIT is coming up. The location is the forested hills of Kamand on the banks of the Uhl, a tributary of River Beas. The historic town Mandi is 12 km away.

IIT-HOME, a unit of True Education Institute Pvt. Ltd., is an educational institute originated for training of students preparing for competitive engineering entrance examinations like IIT-JEE (JEE Advanced & JEE Main) for admissions to premier engineering institutions like Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other elite institutions. IIT-HOME, through an innovative program named – 4SIES (pronounced as Foresee), is also engaged in training, guiding and orienting high school students for their studies, choosing their career and living a thoughtful and balanced life. Under its Mission True Education, IIT-HOME also runs an Alumni Association Program under which, the alumni of IIT-HOME get associated with the Institute for a period of up to 12 years, while learning and developing themselves in the field of teaching, management, technology and creativity.

Kartha Education Society (Mumbai) has been active in the field of education with proven experience of running colleges, schools & other institutions for over 19 years in India and abroad. Indus International University (IIU) has been established under Establishment and Regulation Act,2009, of Himachal Pradesh Government with the right to confer degree as per sections 2f and 22 of the UGC Act 1956. IIU has been set up as a not-for-profit institution with its primary objective of providing access to educational opportunities in various higher education areas in rural India so that students need not travel to the other cities wherein the major public universities have been housed.

The foundation of the Islamic University, Islamabad was laid on the first day of the fifteenth century Hijrah i.e. Muharram 1, 1401 (November 11,1980). This landmark of the beginning of the new Century symbolizes the aspirations and hopes of the Muslim Ummah for an Islamic renaissance. The university was created to produce scholars and practitioners who are imbued with Islamic ideology, whose character and personality conforms to the teachings of Islam, and who are capable to cater to the economic, social, political, technological and intellectual needs of the Muslim Ummah. Islamic Research Institute and few other units like Iqbal International Institute for Research & Dialogue, Dawah Academy, Shariah Academy and Institute of Professional Development are situated within the premises of majestic Faisal Mosque (spread over an area of 189,705 square meters) which is a symbol of International Islamic brotherhood and unity. In conformance with the Islamic precepts, the university provides academic services to men and women through separate campuses for each segment. These campuses, along with the central library, administrative wing and hostels, are located in sector H-10. The Vision To develop an international Islamic seat of higher learning, research instruction and training in various branches of knowledge with special emphasis on Islamic Studies, Social Sciences and humanities to be taught, studied, developed and reconstructed in such a way as to produce a balanced and harmonious human personality, duly informed of and embedded in the Islamic world view and infused with Islamic idealism and fully aware of the human intellectual and scholastic heritage, including the most current developments in human knowledge. The philosophy of the University was inspired by the recommendations of the first World Conference on Muslim Education held in Mecca in A.H. 1398/ A.D 1977. The spirit of this philosophy is based on the Holy Qur'an, in particular the five verses revealed to the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W., namely Al-Alaq, verses 1-5 : Read! In the name of the thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created Created man, out of a leech-like clot : Read! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful He Who taught (the use of) the Pen Taught man that which he knew not According to this philosophy, knowledge shall be propagated in the spirit of Tawhid, leading towards the recognition of Allah as the Absolute Creator and Master of mankind. The spirit behind this recognition of Allah as the Lord of the World (Rabbal-Alamin) represents the apex in the hierarchy of knowledge. Thus, all disciplines of knowledge should lead towards subservience of this truth. This is because knowledge is a form of trust (amanah) from Allah to man, and hence man should utilize knowledge according to Allah's will in performing his role as the servant and vicegerent (khalifah) of Allah on earth. In this way, the seeking of knowledge is regarded as an act of worship.

IIUM Entrepreneurship and Consultancies Sdn. Bhd. (IEC) was established to pilot the consultancy and event activities of the International Islamic University Malaysia. It also acts as a platform for IIUM experts conduct their professional practices and consultancy works.
