JAG is an independent, statewide 501(c)(3) private nonprofit corporation established in 1999 and has become a leader within the national JAG network. Initially created for high school seniors as a school-to-work program, iJAG has evolved into a premier organization serving 3,000 students per year in 60 programs (35 schools), reaching into 24 communities across the states of Iowa and Illinois. In its 19 year history, iJAG has mentored over 20,000 students who were at the highest risk of disengaging from school or dropping out of school without the skills and motivation needed to succeed in higher education and the workforce. And 19 years of results tell the story: - 94% of the iJAG students graduate - Nearly 60% of our grads are the first generation to attend any kind of post-secondary education. - 24% are the first generation in their family to graduate high school. - iJAG students’ grade point averages increase .3 annually. - iJAG students’ school attendance increases an average of seven days per school year over the past 19 years.

L’institut de Journalisme Bordeaux Aquitaine délivre, en formation classique ou en alternance, un Master professionnel de journalisme validé par le ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche, ainsi que par la Commission paritaire nationale de l’emploi des journalistes (CPNEJ). L’IJBA forme ses étudiants avec une exigence reconnue, dans la préoccupation constante des fondamentaux du métier, de sa responsabilité sociale, de son éthique, mais aussi de ses évolutions technologiques. L’IJBA est membre fondateur de la Conférence des écoles de journalisme (CEJ) et siège au sein de la Conférence nationale des métiers du journalisme (CNMJ). Son appartenance aux réseaux Théophraste, ses accords avec des universités étrangères de renom assurent son rayonnement international et offrent nombre d’opportunités à ses étudiants. Institut interne à l’Université Bordeaux Montaigne, l’IJBA est doté du statut d’autonomie financière au sens de l’article 713-9 du code de l’Education. Son conseil est composé de 22 membres. Il est présidé par Christophe Galichon, directeur des Opérations et de la Rédaction de Sud Ouest. Créée en 1967 à l’initiative de Robert Escarpit, notre école a délivré pendant 40 ans un diplôme universitaire de technologie (DUT). Elle recrute aujourd’hui ses étudiants parmi les titulaires d’une Licence 3 (ou plus), dans le cadre d’un concours national. Le coût des études, limité aux droits d’inscription universitaires, permet à l’IJBA d’accueillir des promotions d’une grande mixité sociale, avec un important taux de boursiers. La première promotion du Master a été diplômée en 2008. Longtemps dirigée par le scénariste, grand reporter et universitaire Pierre Christin, ainsi que par Edith Rémond (diplômée 1971), l’école a ensuite été portée par Gaël Le Dantec (dipl. 1990), Maria Santos-Sainz et François Simon (dipl. 1975). Arnaud Schwartz (dipl. 1995), ancien journaliste à La Croix, en est l’actuel directeur.

The International Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (IJCAHPO®) was established as a not-for-profit organization in 1969 to offer certification and continuing education opportunities to ophthalmic allied health personnel. Since then, more than 30,000 people in the U.S., Canada, and around the world have earned IJCAHPO certification. IJCAHPO's mission is to promote global eye health and prevent blindness through training program accreditation, education and the certification of Allied Ophthalmic Personnel. In pursuit of its mission, IJCAHPO will bring results in four areas: 1) Promote the establishment of AOP training programs 2) Develop and implement global accreditation standards for training programs 3) Develop and encourage adoption of international standards for certification 4) Promote education, training, and continuing education resources for AOP
