The Illawarra Business Chamber (IBC) is a member-based not for profit business support organisation. The IBC is represented on the NSW Business Chamber State Council, and in turn at a Federal level through the Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI).

The Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute (IHMRI) was a not-for-profit charity that supported health and medical researcher in the Illawarra-Shoalhaven region of New South Wales, Australia. We bring scientists, doctors and health professionals together to solve our greatest health challenges through research and innovation. Together we are striving to find better ways to prevent and treat disease and illness such as cancer, diabetes, mental illness and dementia.

ISJO's member councils of Wollongong City, Shellharbour City, Kiama Municipal and Shoalhaven City have a combined area of some 5,800 square kilometres and is home to around 404,000 people. The principal functions of the ISJO are to establish strategic priorities for our region and develop strategies and plans for delivering these priorities. The ISJO also provides strong regional leadership in advocating for improvement to the infrastructure and services to our member’s communities. Programs delivered by the ISJO team on behalf of our councils include the Southern Regional Waste Strategy Program initiatives of Regional Illegal Dumping Prevention and Litter Prevention Programs; the Regional Joint Procurement Program; and the Illawarra District Weeds Authority.

We are a community-based feminist health care centre for women only. We were established 30 years ago and have been providing a safe place for women to access specialised women’s medical and health care services. We also offer a range of health and wellbeing workshops, therapeutic programs and community-based group activities such as meditation, yoga, art therapy, singing as well as various support groups. Our services and programs are provided at little or no cost to all women in the Illawarra. Our Centre has female general practitioners, nurse practitioners, counsellors, psychologists, a dietitian, massage therapists (including a specialised oncology therapist), social workers, and domestic violence support. We are nationally accredited. We particularly target women who are in marginalised and vulnerable circumstances, including Aboriginal women and women with disabilities. We assist many women fleeing violence who need ongoing support to begin a new, safe life.
