IAG - A Escola de Negócios da PUC-Rio Fundado em 1958 como Instituto de Administração e Gerência, o IAG é a Escola de Negócios da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, considerada a melhor universidade privada do Brasil, segundo o Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2017. É parte integrante do Centro de Ciências Sociais da PUC-Rio. O IAG integra, em um só ambiente, graduação em Administração de Empresas, pós-graduação stricto sensu (Mestrado Acadêmico, Mestrado Profissional e Doutorado, ambos em Administração), pós-graduação lato sensu (MBA), cursos in company, núcleos de pesquisa, consultoria e convênios internacionais. Desde a sua fundação, o IAG já formou mais de 50.000 profissionais e possui conceito A do MEC em seu curso de graduação e conceito 5 da CAPES para seus três programas de pós-graduação stricto sensu. O corpo docente é integrado por professores com solidez e experiência acadêmica e de mercado, com expertise teórica e prática aplicada dentro de sala de aula e conta com 23 professores-doutores de tempo integral e 70 professores de tempo parcial nas áreas de Finanças, Marketing, Organizações e Estratégia. O IAG também é membro fundador da Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Administração (ANPAD), que congrega todos os programas de pós-graduação do Brasil, além de ter participado da criação da Sociedade Brasileira de Finanças (SBFin), principal associação de finanças do país. Localizado em um cenário ecológico, protegido da correria do meio urbano, o IAG oferece a atmosfera e infraestrutura ideais para a concentração nos estudos, o pensamento criativo e a construção do conhecimento. Founded in 1986, IAG Industrie Automatisierungsgesellschaft m.b.H. is presently in the sole ownership of two families. Very early on, the founders Olaf Pokorny and Ernst Brunner combined their passion for filling the highest customer requirements with a noteworthy competence for finding solutions. These properties have always helped IAG to maintain a lead in matters of technology – first on the domestic and subsequently on the international market. That was how the company was to become the world market leader in this market – through the manufacture of fully automatic and tailor-made special solutions for the friction lining industry. The IAGC is the global trade association representing all segments of the geophysical and exploration industry.
