Il Polo Innovazione Automotive raggruppa un insieme di aziende del sistema automotive: piccole e medie imprese, aziende globalizzate, università, istituti di ricerca, enti e istituzioni. Soggetto gestore del Polo di Innovazione Automotive è la soc. cons. IAM (Innovazione Automotive e Metalmeccanica), con sede a Santa Maria Imbaro (Ch), presso il centro servizi Sangro Aventino. Cuore del progetto è l’Abruzzo, dove sono collocati molti dei nostri partner, ma la nostra sfida è incrementare la competitività del sistema Abruzzo-Italia-Europa-Mondo. Il Polo ha già attivato partnership a livello nazionale, europeo e internazionale. La nostra mission è incoraggiare le interazioni tra le imprese costituenti il Polo e contribuire allo sviluppo della ricerca-innovazione, nuove tecnologie, messa in rete e diffusione delle informazioni. Ci si propone, inoltre, di supportare iniziative di spin off e start up, con particolare riferimento ad attività di scouting, formazione, affiancamento e tutoring.
