The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was set up in 1963 by the Government of India as an autonomous organisation to help professionalize the country's International Business by developing human resources; generating, analysing and disseminating data; and conducting research. Today, it is one of the premier Business schools in the country and its flagship programme of two year full time MBA in International Business is considered to be the best for International Business. In 2023, IIFT has also launched a two year full time MBA program in Business Analytics, aligning it closely with the dynamic demands of the industry. It is a deemed university and comes directly under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India (GOI). IOTA is the student project club of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sri City. IOTA is an initiative taken by the students of IIITS to encourage and inculcate project and product development culture within the students of the institute. The primary idea is to start new interdisciplinary projects and bring all the good academic projects of the institute under a common body and host all of them online to help the students and create an open-source culture. This will facilitate peer to peer learning among the students, avoid repetition and cultivate product development skills as well as project management skills in them right from the start. This club will help start and maintain an industry working culture in the institute which will go a long way in helping students of current and future batches.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Dharwad is one of the 20 IIITs proposed under a non-profit, Public-Private-Partnership model by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

IIIT Una (Saloh) is one of the 20 IIITs being set up, funded and managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The partners setting up IIIT Una (Saloh) are the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh, HP Power Corporation Limited and HP Transmission Corporation Limited. Admissions to the undergraduate programmes in the Institute are made through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur has been entrusted the responsibility of mentoring IIIT Una (Saloh) by MHRD, Govt. of India till the time its new campus is made operational at Saloh, Una. NIT Hamirpur is one of the Institute of National Importance established by Gol and Imparting quality education in the area of Engineering, Architecture, Humanities & Social Sciences since the year 1986. At present, IIIT Una (Saloh) will operate from its temporary Premises at NIT Hamirpur. The permanent campus is coming up in the District of Una In Himachal Pradesh. Our vision is to build a vibrant multicultural learning environment founded on value-based academic principles, wherein all involved shall contribute effectively, efficiently and responsibly to the national and global community.

Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIIT-V) is set up by the Ministry of Education (Earlier called the Human Resource Development (MHRD)), Government Of India under Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The partners in this project are Government Of India, Government of Gujarat, Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute, Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals and Tata Consultancy Services. The Institute was established in the year 2013. DA-IICT Gandhinagar has been entrusted the responsibility of mentoring IIIT Vadodara. At present, IIIT-V is operating from its temporary premises at Government Engineering College (Gandhinagar) till the time its new campus is made operational at Vadodara, Gujarat. Indian Institute of Information Technology, Vadodara - is established to cater to the emerging needs and opportunities and meet economic challenges being thrown by the incessant IT revolution. It is setup as a Not for Profit Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. It is a major initiative taken by Government of Gujarat to harness the multifarious dimension of IT Industry. The Government of Gujarat has lent support to the Institute by providing 50 acres of land and Building. It is aimed at providing future candidates who shall become a precursor in the field of IT. A Governing Council consisting of distinguished people from academia, industry and government preside over the governance of the institute. The Institute aims at evolving strong research programmes in a plethora of areas where IT shall provide a common link with profound emphasis on development of technology and its application.

Indian Institute of Information Technology Chittoor at Sri City, known as IIITS, is an institute of national importance and a pinnacle of technology education standards in India. The Institute is governed by distinguished academicians, industry leaders and senior government officials, referred to as the Board of Governors. Additionally, IIIT Hyderabad and IIT Hyderabad are the mentor institutions for IIIT Sri City. In fact, The Institute follows a similar curriculum and pedagogy as IIIT Hyderabad. IIITS was established under the Government of India’s Initiative to set up 20 Institutes across India, focused on Information Technology. The Institute was setup by the Government of India – MHRD, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Industry Partners (Sri City Foundation) as a Not-for-Profit Public-Private-Partnership. The Institute was funded 50 percent by the Government of India, 35 percent by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and 15 percent by the Industry Partners. Our Campus spread across 80 acres and equipped with state-of-the-art Infrastructure is coming up in Sri City. The Campus will match international standards, while keeping in mind the culture and values of India. Sri City is an emerging Smart City and the hub for over 100 MNC’s from 25 Countries.
