Inaugurado em novembro de 2013, o JK Shopping foi o primeiro centro comercial criado com o propósito de atender todas as regiões de Ceilândia e Taguatinga. Essa iniciativa obteve tanto sucesso que foi premiada nacionalmente em 2019 no mais importante prêmio da indústria de shoppings centers do Brasil (prêmio Abrasce), na categoria Newton Rique de Sustentabilidade.
