The JLGB is a modern, thriving, exciting and innovative voluntary youth organisation and is a model of professional Youth work in the 21st century. The JLGB offers young people of all abilities the opportunity to enrich their lives through a diverse range of positive experiences, activities and leadership training within a friendly, safe and structured environment, encouraging friendship and their involvement in the Jewish and wider community. JLGB provides activities for young people aged 8-25, as well as working with schools and other youth organisations. Regular activities at our weekly meetings include creative skills, music, sports, social interaction and outdoor pursuits. JLGB provides opportunities for personal, social development, learning new skills, accessing information and NOCN accredited training and is the National provider for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in the Jewish Community.

The OU's Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus (OU-JLIC) strives to engage students navigating the university environment while balancing their Jewish life. JLIC, in partnership will Hillel Ontario, educates and provides avenues for spiritual and professional development for Jewish students from varied backgrounds. JLIC presents a positive, sophisticated and welcoming face for Judaism on campus. We strive to inspire young adults to take ownership and responsibility for their Jewish lives in their communities. We host students for Shabbat meals and Shabbat programming, create social events, learn with students b'chavruta, and prepare students for their careers through networking events and professional development seminars. We are always available to support students in all aspects of university and communal life.
