Juventas Therapeutics is a private, clinical stage biotechnology company developing novel non-viral gene therapies that activate natural processes to repair the body. Our product candidate, JVS-100, is a non-viral gene therapy that expresses stromal cell-derived factor-1, or SDF-1, a naturally occurring signaling protein that has been shown to recruit the body’s own stem cells and promote tissue repair in a broad range of disease states. Juventas’ therapeutic approach is based on research originating at the Cleveland Clinic. Juventas is currently enrolling a Phase 2b study in patients with advanced peripheral artery disease.

Juvo - Home Friend is IoT home alarm system for reporting child's movement towards less safe areas in home. Juvo Home Friend platform consists of smart sensors placed on key areas in home (like kitchen, bathroom, balcony, swimming pool, front door) that react only on child's movement, mobile application for receiving notifications about child's movement and plush toy with speaker for distracting a child while parents come. When child starts moving towards dangerous area, smart sensor positioned on the ceiling in front of dangerous area will register its movement. Sensor will conclude that that movement is produced by child based on child's height. Sensor will immediately send notification with location to mobile app and activate plush toy which will start singing or talking with prerecorded parent's voice. Juvo Home Friend is comprehensive IoT solution that cares for the safety of children in their most sensitive and vulnerable age inside their home, monitoring their movement and environment. It allows children to move freely and explore their environment while notifying parents when increased supervision is needed. Juvo - Home Friend project was very successful from the beginning.
