Kidsafe ACT is a charity dedicated to preventing unintentional injuries to children. In our 35 years in Australia, childhood deaths through unintentional injuries have reduced by almost 65% per year. It's a scary thought that so many of our children are still being injured when nearly every accident is preventable. Over the last decade, we have made great progress in the ACT, but there is still a need for ongoing research and injury prevention programs. At stake is the wellbeing of our most valuable asset - our children.

Kidsafe aims to prevent child deaths from unintentional injury and reduce the severity of unintentional injury to children aged 0-14 years. Kidsafe is the trading name of the Child Accident Prevention Foundation of Australia (CAPFA). It was founded in 1979 by a group of health, legal and business professionals focused on the prevention of accidental injuries to children. As a non-government not-for-profit charity organisation, Kidsafe is internationally regarded as a leader in injury prevention and has relationships with government, research and advocacy organisations around the world, including the Child Accident Prevention Trust in the United Kingdom, and Safekids Worldwide, including partner organisations across the globe. Kidsafe works at the national level with partners, such as government departments, industry bodies, education providers, health professionals, the media, community groups and voluntary organisations, to address child safety injury issues. Kidsafe New South Wales Inc. is located at Kidsafe House, in the grounds of The Children's Hospital at Westmead. Kidsafe House is a child safety demonstration house and playground, providing a great opportunity for parents, carers, students, health and industry professionals to gain a better understanding of safety in and around the home.

KidSafe keeps schools open during winter, spring and summer breaks, providing a nurturing safe haven for over 450 elementary students in Vancouver. KidSafe children benefit from healthy meals, learning programs (literacy, science, gardening), leadership development and recreational opportunities in their own schools, free of charge. Children who participate in KidSafe are selected by their principals, teachers, social workers and parents.

Kidsafe (formerly called the Child Accident Prevention Foundation of Australia) was established in 1979. Kidsafe Queensland was incorporated in 2003. It is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to preventing unintentional death and injury in children by raising public awareness about child safety, educating parents and others who care for children - as well as children themselves - about the existence of hazards and how to avoid them.

Kidsbridge is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing imaginative, hands-on programs focusing on: anti-bullying and anti-cyberbullying; tolerance; diversity appreciation and respect for all persons; victim empowerment and positive self-esteem; conflict resolution and empathy; sensitivity to persons with disabilities; understanding of LGBT persons and grassroots youth activism. Since 1996, Kidsbridge has sought to fill the large voids that exist in the learning of life skills, character education and diversity appreciation with knowledge, aspiration and empowerment. Kidsbridge programs include the Kidsbridge Tolerance Center and the Kidsbridge Life Skills Programs. The Kidsbridge Tolerance Center is the only youth-focused tolerance center in the United States. It is located in the Ewing Senior & Community Center in Ewing, NJ (beginning in July 2014.) From March 2006 through June 2014, it was known as “the Museum” and was generously housed in Forcina Hall on the campus of The College of New Jersey/TCNJ in Ewing, NJ.
