Livre et lecture en Bretagne accompagne et complète les politiques publiques en faveur du livre et de la lecture en Bretagne. Livre et lecture en Bretagne favorise le développement de la filière du livre en accompagnant et valorisant les auteurs et leurs ouvrages, l’édition, la librairie indépendante, les bibliothèques, médiathèques et centres de ressources documentaires, les manifestations littéraires. Ses modes d’intervention sont : — l’observation et l’expertise de la filière du livre, — l’accompagnement personnalisé des projets professionnels, — le développement d’une information ciblée, — l’organisation de rencontres professionnelles et interprofessionnelles sur des problématiques métiers, — la coordination et la mise en œuvre de formations en Bretagne, — la valorisation de tous les acteurs bretons du livre et de la lecture. L’établissement développe également un axe fort de travail en direction des publics empêchés : prison, illettrisme, handicaps, hôpital.
