Locale Consulting specialises in consulting services to the local government and not for profit sectors in regional New South Wales. Our complementary suite of services include strategy and policy, planning, community engagement, grant funding, conflict resolution, governance, and training. We provide our clients with a responsive, personalised and timely service that will lead to practical and outcome focused solutions. Locale Consulting was founded in 2009 by our Director of Planning and Strategy, Steve Thompson. In 2012 Emma Broomfield, a trained lawyer and mediator, was appointed as the Director of Governance and Mediation and expanded our services to include governance and mediation. Cinnamon Dunsford joined our team as the Principal Planner in 2014, bringing additional resources and experience in the areas of planning, community engagement and policy development. We also work closely with like minded consultants to expand our spectrum of services to include design services, asset management, engineering, environmental services and project implementation. Locale Consulting started on the south coast of New South Wales and relocated to the north coast in 2013. Our main office is in the regional town of Woolgoolga. As well as a growing portfolio of clients on the mid and north coasts, we retain a strong client base on the south coast and southern highlands. We continue to operate a mobile office in the Shoalhaven area to service our clients’ needs.
